American GLP publishes independent explanations of GLP-1 insurance coverage, plan restrictions and appeals in the United States.
Articles carry the American GLP publisher byline. We do not claim a medical license, legal qualification or personal treatment experience. This site is an editorial resource, not a medical practice, insurer or law firm.
Evidence behind each answer
Coverage pages cite government guidance, plan documents and insurer criteria. Sources have a reading date, and a policy's effective date is kept separate. A page about one employer plan cannot establish coverage for every member of the same insurer.
When a document cannot be verified, we state that limit. A new publication date is not evidence that a policy has changed. The page's sources and revision date let you judge whether its answer applies to your plan.
