Answer

Costco GLP-1 prices at the pharmacy

11 documents cited · Read September 2026

The short answer

With a Costco membership and no insurance, Wegovy and Ozempic cost the same as buying from Novo: $149 to $299 for the pill, $199 then $349 for the pen. Zepbound costs more at Costco than at LillyDirect.

What does each drug cost at Costco?

These are Costco's member prices for self-pay, the same at warehouse pickup and home delivery for the Novo drugs. Shipping and handling are extra.

Read on Costco's pharmacy site in September 2026. Costco says its prices may adjust from time to time.

Do you need to be a member?

To get these prices, yes. Anyone can use a Costco pharmacy, but non-members pay the regular cash price. Members don't sign up for anything; you show your membership card, and the price also covers your dependents under 18.

Costco's pharmacy pages we read (the program page, the price lookup and the FAQ) don't mention an extra discount for Executive members, so ask at the counter rather than count on one.

Can you use your insurance and the Costco price together?

No. Costco says its member price can't be combined with insurance, and can't be applied to prescriptions billed to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, discount cards or coupons. You pick one or the other for each prescription, so ask the pharmacy to price both.

Paying the Costco price means paying outside your plan, so it won't count toward your deductible.

Is Costco cheaper than buying from the maker?

For Wegovy, no, and it isn't more expensive either. NovoCare charges the same $149, $199 and $299 for the pill and the same $199 then $349 for the pen. TrumpRx lists Ozempic at the same $199, $349 and $499.

For Zepbound, Costco costs more. Its KwikPen price is $499.22 at the lower doses and $699.21 at the higher ones. LillyDirect sells the same KwikPen from $299 to $449 by dose if you refill within 45 days, and Lilly's self-pay card offers the same prices at pharmacies that accept it. Ask Costco's pharmacy whether it runs that card before you pay the member price.

Will these prices last?

Some won't. The $199 pen prices are limited to two fills, and Costco's page says the Wegovy pen price is $349 after December 31, 2026. It also says the 1.5 mg pill becomes $199 after that date; NovoCare's own page, read the same month, doesn't give an end date for its $149. Check again in January.

What to ask the Costco pharmacy

Can you price my [drug and dose] two ways: through my insurance, and at the Costco member price? For Zepbound, do you accept Lilly's self-pay KwikPen card, and what would I pay with it?

Bring your membership card. Write down both prices and the date, since the pharmacy can't combine them.
